We get it!
Life throws us so many things on the daily making it hard to keep up!
Self-care isn't something we want to put off and will get to "someday", it's essential and it's what we need to prioritize TODAY!
What do plants need to grow? It isn't crossing our fingers and hoping for the best. They need healthy soil, water, sunlight, and sometimes special care as well.
We need things to grow and function at our best too!
We need to do things that nourish us and help us grow.
We need to do things that inspire us and move us; things that fill up our coffee pot so that we can pour from a full pot and give to the things in our life that mean most without fully depleting ourselves.
"Me and My Emotions" is a children's book written by Elizabeth Evett and Illustrated by Anthony Ori. A fun rhyming book that discusses emotions and how we can respond to them.
At the end of the book there is a feeling word bank, as well as questions to help start a discussion regarding emotions between you and your kiddo!
Speaking Emotions LLC is about embracing the power that comes with communication. We discuss ways to increase positive mental health through self-care, validation, and coping skills.
Our mental health is extremely important to take care of. We all have emotions, so lets start the conversation and talk about them and get back to prioritizing self-care!
